A Daily Calendar of Impressionist Paintings -- open the ArtC app and see a new painting every day of the year!

View the major highlights of Impressionism, including Monet’s water lilies and Van Gogh’s “Starry Night,” and discover new favorites, like Twatchman’s waterfalls and Sorolla’s beach scenes. This app is an excellent resource to easily build your knowledge and enjoyment of art.

Artists include the big names like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh and Mary Cassatt as well as lesser known painters like Lovis Corinth, Thomas Wilmer Dewing and Joaquin Sorolla. This collection covers the full spectrum of Impressionists, from early proponents like Manet to the late Impressionists like Cezanne.

Viewing these works of art as a collection provides a remarkable sense of the time period—fantastic hats, bustling boulevards, racous cafes and theaters, along with the gorgeous morning light of Provence, and the simple beauty of rivers and fields.

*The nude figure has been a major theme in art history, and no survey of Impressionism would be complete without paintings featuring the nude. None of the paintings in this app are sexually explicit.*
